Smilka Janeska Sarkanjac has been executing number of IT leadership’s roles during her colorful career. Her obsession with use of ICT for development in the organizations of the private and public sector, especially new technologies and models such as Software as a Service, Cloud, AI, ML, IoT, has led her to an academic role where she is enjoying the privilege the share her passion with the next generation of Young Professionals.
Smilka is as well actively promoting the woman career development in technology. She has now embarked on a parallel journey of founding a company, fully dedicated to Salesforce technology, giving her ability to tangibly accomplish what she stands for.

Darko Stavrov

Darko Stavrov is a technology enthusiast, regularly captivated by the power and impact innovative technology is bringing to businesses and consumers. The years as a researcher at Delft University of Technology have exposed him to the importance of the academic community forces for a continuous technology innovation. Building his Business Development career at ALTRAN and AKKA Technologies, world leaders in engineering and R&D services, Darko has helped his technology clients in all industrial sectors to invent and develop their future products and services.

THE FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
AND ENGINEERING (FCSE)
[aka FINKI]

The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, FCSE (aka FINKI) is the largest faculty of its kind in Macedonia and one of the largest in the Balkans. It is part of the oldest University in the country, Saints Cyril and Methodius. FINKI is the largest faculty by a number of enrolled students within the University. Today it has about 4,000 students with 1000+ students enrolling each year.

FINKI students are successful employees in Google, Facebook, Amazon and other IT giants in the world, working with Macedonian companies, as well as running their own successful businesses. Interesting to mention that FINKI is quite present in international coding competitions. Notable are the 1st prize winner of the NASA Space apps challenge in 2016 and Codefest Hackathon in 2016.

codeSTREETS YOUNG PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

codeSTREETS, in partnership with FTCE, will institute a Young Professional Program (YPP), a targeted professional development program focusing on the Salesforce cloud technologies and products. The codeSTREETS Young Professional Program will be available for FTCE students in their final two years of study. The program will also be a starting point for exciting career development opportunities with codeSTREETS.
